It is very important to check the hydraulic cylinders and tubes. The best case scenario is that the chrome-plated surfaces of the hydraulic cylinders are free of scuffs, dents or signs of oil leakage. If there is hydraulic oil seeping out, dust may have contaminated the hydraulic system.

It is also important to make sure that the cylinder walls are not damaged or dented. The gap between the cylinder and the cylinder wall is so small that just one piece of debris in the pipework can cause the cylinder to produce a lot of metal shavings during operation due to wear and tear, which can remain in the hydraulic system.
